My favourite thing about deviantArt is connecting to the imaginations of other artists. I see favourite characters reimagined in vibrant styles, beautiful landscapes captured by photographers, figures from myth and folklore brought to life in delicate paintings, and so much more! I also love being able to support the art of my family and friends, who inspire me every day with their creativity. Seeing how other people realise their dreams and imaginations in art inspires me to share my own imagination with the world.

Above are a few of the works that have inspired me lately. Happy birthday to deviantART!

Wow, I was just browsing and came upon your drawings of the Hogwarts founders. It seems that we thought pretty alike when using historical costumes as basis for the founders. I think that only Godric Gryffindor seems to be most different, but still.. have a look:…

Wow, that's really cool! It's great to meet someone else who likes drawing the founders in historical clothing. :) I think the main reason our Gryffindors are quite different is that I decided to draw him in armour since I had already drawn Slytherin in regular Anglo-Saxon clothing.

If you're interested in historical clothing you might like to read the notes I included for my research for each founder. I don't know about you, but I really enjoyed reading about historical clothing when I was drawing them! :D Thanks for sharing your drawing and for contacting me about it!

I will probably read your notes :) I found it quite interesting to research, but it really is not my field to know about clothing (especially in england during the 800-1100s) so I thought it was a bit difficult. Tried to look at medieval paintings and tapestries mainly.
