Description
I just returned from a wonderful English holiday, which included a magical afternoon spent at Salisbury. This is the medieval cloister. It was built in the 13th century in the Gothic style. After the many ruined cathedrals and monasteries of Scotland, I was amazed to see intact medieval church architecture. It was a very beautiful and peaceful place. June 2015.
